Angela ‘Nahara’ BurdickOwner, CMT
Angela ‘Nahara’ graduated highschool early and was a pre med major. After some youthful adventures and travels living off the land in a teepee and studying with a shaman, she went on to study both eastern and western massage at East West Healing Arts Institute and graduated in 2006 from a very in-depth 2 year program as well as an additional two year internship with Dr. Xiping Zhou where she did his charting, removed needles and provided massage for his patients in his busy clinic in Madison, Wisconsin. She has been practicing and studying the human body ever since and relocated her practice to Mendocino County in 2007. With a unique anatomical knowledge and intuitive sense of the body, she truly loves what she does and custom crafts each massage and facial service specifically for her clients. No routines here! Every session is different, every time you come in, because bodies need different things from one day to the next. She expanded her solo massage practice into a full spa in 2020 with the intention to create a vibrant special place for conscious community to grow and connect by offering highly curated yoga classes, healing retreats and workshops, ecoluxe goods, exquisitely nourishing body services, a clean zen atmosphere and a world class experience for each guest. She lives with her partner and 3 children in Albion, CA.
Serena AckerYoga Instructor
Serena believes that yoga is a way to better understand and love ourselves, and the bodies in which we live. Connecting movement with breath she weaves together active and more gentle postures in a creative and playful sequence leaving the body feeling balanced, refreshed and strong. Serena found yoga after years of competitive athletics had begun to take a toll on her body. She trained with Marianne Wells in Costa Rica in 2015 and has been teaching ever since.
